Funded by the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), the Tumble and Talk Study investigates the efficacy of an online social communication intervention designed for fathers of children with autism.

Funded by Dr. Flippin's New Investigator Grant from the American Speech Language and Hearing Foundation, the Father Communication Coaching study examined outcomes for children with autism and their families, following an in-person father-mediated intervention

 The interprofessional, Kinesthetic Classroom Study examined the relationship among learning, language and movement.

Robot Assisted Autism Therapy

Funded by a grant from the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), the "MILO" study examines the feasibility and efficacy of robot-assisted communication intervention for elementary students with autism in Rhode Island public schools.

LENA LAB

Through generous funding from the Champlin Foundations, Dr. Flippin established the LENA Lab at URI to provide cutting-edge hands on training in digital language sample analysis for URI CMD students.
